There’s something that I want to write. There’s something that I want to write, but it’s stuck. There’s something about experience, and the smell of rain and eyes; there’s something to do with eyes. And breathing. There’s something I want to say and I don’t know what it is or how to say what I don’t know. It’s not a problem. I won’t call it a problem. I’ll call it exploration. I’ll call it an adventure. I’ll call it the bell that is sounding in the distance, the one that leads everyone to it. The one you don’t have to think about. You blink and then you’re there, just the way life is. You blink, and you blink, and you blink and then at some point you want to keep your eyes open. Sometimes the light burns and you want to cry or jump out, jump away.
Nature seems capable of lifting the weight
Hearts seem capable of breaking open
Music is the only thing that helps
Water is the only thing that helps
The buzz of the television
The breath of a car
The words without voice
The perfect sentence
A standing up
The room is spinning
The room is so still
Sometimes something wants to be said but it doesn’t know what it is and it has to go out and find it and maybe turn round again, and talk to some people and see some things and sometimes things need to be stopped and sometimes a trip is a step in the right direction and sometimes we don’t know what we’re talking about but we keeping talking because something is trying to find us and our words are that bell in the distance bringing it forth.
We all get stuck sometimes. We all feel faint and panicked. We question our decisions and our journey. Hell, I spent much time questioning whether or not I should publish this post that isn’t much like my other writing on this blog. But I want to say this. Keep moving toward the things that you love, the things that make you happy, that bring you peace. Keep taking steps, keep talking, keep seeking. The thing that you want is trying to find you, but it won’t if you stay silent, if you disappear into the crowd.
My name is Lyz-Stephanie and I want to inspire you to live a more interesting, fulfilling and beautiful life. Think of me as your well-being and happiness guide.
