Any time that I read or listen to Seth Godin, my sapiosexual nerves start firing up and I want to run about rambling in my aroused state. I know that many of you, my Dear Readers, may be looking for a bit of brain stimulation as well, so I’m going to share some. I can’t keep all this energy bottled up.
A few years ago, a very close friend of mine introduced me to Marie Forleo. Maybe some of you have heard of her and you’re feeling excitement at hearing her name because you know what I’m talking about. She is a lifestyle and business coach and she is out of this world amazing. I’ve often looked to her for advice on countless topics. If you don’t know her, you’ll be thanking me for years to come just as I still thank my friend for my introduction.
If you’re anything like me, you have a jealous streak for keeping the things you love secret from the world. That’s how I feel about Marie. But alas, my primary focus for this blog is to inspire my readers to lead more interesting and fulfilling lives, whatever that looks like to them. So how could I in good conscience keep Marie Forleo to myself? She is a reflection of what I strive for. She can be found at marieforleo.com (the best place) and on YouTube.
Here are some videos to get you started, including an interview with the brilliant Seth Godin.
“We have to acknowledge that we have finite resources, finite time, infinite connection. How will we use them to produce outcomes that we’re proud of?”
“Our goal isn’t to touch everyone, our goal is to touch someone, to change someone, just one person. If you get good at that, do 5, then do 100. But stop worrying about everyone. Everyone doesn’t matter.”
For the record, you’ll be scrolling through her content all day, so make time.
Marie Forleo has been life coaching for many years and her website marieforleo.com is an extraordinary collection of wisdom, humor, interviews and style. Meet your new best friend. Go on and check her out!
