Outfit Post: Fall Essential

Yes, I know that it’s December, but I live in Florida, which means that it’s still kind of fall, kind of summer; cool one day and warm the next; cold in the morning hot by the afternoon. If you’re anything like me, when the chill starts sticking around a bit longer your jeans start working overtime.

My Instagram feed runneth over with blue jeans, knee high boots and sweaters, accented with a leather bag and designer belt. Here’s my take on fall here in South Florida (most days. As I said, it may be 85 degrees tomorrow… or by this afternoon… or it may drop to 65).

I love these soft pink jeans in the fall because they break away from the monotony of wearing blue jeans on a near daily basis and stand out in that blue sea.

The soft pink of the jeans is enough to add subtle impact and be considered a neutral in my book.

Wearing boots on an autumn day in Florida is always risky business. I could end up the most fashionable woman in the room in the morning and the most foolish woman by afternoon. On most days, open toe shoes are just fine. Here, I’m continuing with the light, neutral look.

Individual style doesn’t have to die with the leaves when the weather gets cooler.
