Creative Coaching.
Hey! I’m Lyz-Stephanie
a creative coach, speaker, treehugger, and lover of learning dedicated to helping you become the thoughtful, innovative, results-driven leader you want to be.

Creativity is the result of the interplay of billions of neurons sending trillions of electrical impulses.
Input is hugely important in the creative process. Input charts new pathways in our minds and inspires fresh ideas. The broader our input, the vaster our possibilities become. My coaching draws from the wealth of knowledge to be gained from the world of art, history, science, and business for increased creativity and innovation.
There’s a lot of wisdom and inspiration to be found out there, but there’s only so many hours in the day. Coaching allows us to shrink the gap between what you want to learn and how long it’ll take you to learn it so that your growth is not only faster but deeper and more well-rounded.
“Approaches and outcomes of groups who cooperate in seeking a solution are not just better than the average member working alone, but are even better than the groups best problem-solver working alone. Diversity of knowledge and perspectives stimulates thinking processes that wouldn’t happen alone.” – Patrick Laughlin, Behavioral Scientist
Whether we’re business owners, content creators, or both, we reap tremendous benefits from collaborative human connection. Coaching to me isn’t about a master-apprentice or teacher-student interaction, it’s about coming together to work through challenges to expand your potential and the potential of your business. I will act as a sounding board, support you in brainstorming sessions, think-tanks, and help you approach challenges with a creative and entrepreneurial approach.
“As leaders, we should think of ourselves as teachers and try to create companies in which teaching is seen as a valued way to contribute to the success of the whole.” – Ed Catmull, Creativity Inc
Would you like to create content that engages your clients, builds brand awareness, positions you as an expert in your field and gives you a leg up on the competition? Whether your goal is to teach your clients or your team, I can help you strengthen your ability to teach, refine your digital content and connect to your audience. I believe that teaching and learning should be an enjoyable experience and that educating our audience is a powerful marketing and community-building tool.
“I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s world. That includes your unique sets of gifts, your personality, your sense of humor and most importantly, your heart.” – Marie Forleo, Business Coach & Thought-Leader
Our businesses can and should be a reflection of ourselves. I believe that each of us is a unique puzzle and that every aspect of ourselves can serve us in life and business. I believe in a creative and research-backed approach to blending the two. Creative leaders aren’t bound by the limitations of what’s been done before. They’re able to forge new pathways to reach their goals and increase their profits and product offerings.
As a multi-passionate entrepreneur, I’m proud to support creative, intellectual business owners in blending art and business, work and life.
I grew up as one of those “all over the place” people. Or at least I thought I was. Although we’ve all heard of a Renaissance man, no one, apparently, has heard of a Renaissance child. But that was me, never one to specialize, at least not for very long. Art, science, history, all interested me. In high school, I was bitten by the business marketing bug. I became fascinated, seeing it as a creative outlet to let my imagination run wild. I saw possibilities everywhere.
The more time I spent pursuing business, however, the more it began to feel like my career would be centered around profits. While profits are great, the artist in me, the person who believed in art for art’s sake, felt a bit starved. I began buying into the myth that art and business lived on two different planets and that a person had to pick a planet.
Seeing business as a profits-driven machine with no soul, I choose art. I studied English Literature and took every humanities and psychology course I could get my hands on. I dived into culture and the human brain. I spent more than a decade teaching in a way that expanded my own creative expression while encouraging and supporting the critical-thinking, problem-solving, and creative potential of my students. It took years to realize that using all the seemingly disconnected aspects of ourselves in lives and businesses leads to the greatest happiness and greatest impact. I now support other business owners and creatives in bringing the same authenticity and innovation to their businesses.
